Trading a pair of lavender fingerless mittens and a green vintage ear warmer/headband (the pattern provide image is on the last slide). These are probably on the smaller size. The mittens fit my palm circumference of 8.5in and the headband fits a circumference of about 26in. I’m not looking for anything in particular so just let me know what you have!

What is going on. They just came out of the shower and were hanging on my arm while they dried off when I felt feed fall from my arm my bf and I watched in disbelief. Our male small adult budgie was feeding our adult male cockatiel. And big pieces of feed were falling out of our cockatiel and budgies mouth. They were in the shower for 30 minutes tops and just in the splash zone not under direct water or anything… I have never ever witnessed this with them… ever. After lots of showers and cuddles they’ve never done this. We rescued our cockatiels in summer of 2023 and got our budgie exactly 1 year ago today on my birthday. So like is this normal?!? as per the title, i’m looking to buy a spot cleaner for our new house with brand new carpet. we’ll be cleaning up carpet and sofa after a cat and two kids - think food, juice, vomit (cat and kid), craft supplies, etc. the options that i’m considering which are available in australia are the bissell spot clean and the shark stain striker. i’m open to the bissell turbo but not sure whether it would be worth the extra cost. any reviews, suggestions or advice from australian and non-australian users hugely appreciated. sorry if this post is opening up rehashed ground - happy to be redirected to existing posts. thank you all!How big a lunar radio telescope do we need to detect radio loud aliens?
A problem with the SETI search is it looks for a specific radio frequency and even worse they have to be directly point at us to be detectable. We can’t from Earth just try detecting normal radio signals like we put out with radio, television, cell phones, etc. because from other planets it would be completely drowned out by our own transmissions. There is a plan now to put a radio telescope on the far side of the Moon to get a highly sensitive radio telescope not suffering from interference from Earth transmissions. How large would it need to be to detect radio signals like we put out, to, say, 50 lightyears?Waste of potential...
You dont ve to read this am actually writing it while about to sleep and started thinking.. Why does dota ve some deep and well connected lore but not using it or is it just me? The anime: if you dont know the lore its good but if u know it it feels like a waste potential idk if its just me but i dont feel like alot of people are interested in mirana or luna as much as rubick and invoker(and also aghanim).. arc warden and elder titan.. the foulfell plane.. weaver.. the templer assassin phantom assassin..i feel like theres much more deeper and better stories than mirana and luna. Well for dragon knight he isnt that bad and i know hes more like a "main char of dota" since hes on every poster and logo. So i kind of understand why they had to make the anime about him even tho i still think other chars would ve been better since they ve a deeper and better overall lore/story. P2 of this yapping: Crownfall was such a great experience i liked how they linked the lore with a gameplay and prizes its a masterpiece and the story was good enough so its a 10/10 for me i wish they do like that in the future for more heros even if they cant spare giving away lore aracanas.
